Krista Swimwear Fit Tips

Large shoulders

Choose a swimsuit with large straps instead of halter tops. It will provide great support and narrow your upper-body. Draw attention to your waist line and your hips with attractive and delicate bottoms with buckles, embellishments or fun prints. If your preference is a two-piece suit, your best bet will be for solid colour tops with printed bottoms.

Bust enhancer

We have the fashion answers if you happen to be small on top. Try our halter top and deep plunge front – features that are wonderfully bust enhancing. Also, any one-piece suit with prints above the waist complemented by a dark bottom will emphasize the bust. Further attention to the bust line can also be drawn with eye-catching detailing on the top.

Bust minimizer

Tankini tops and one-piece suits with higher necklines and/or full support inside bra linings can help reduce the look of your cleavage. Wider straps and “straight across” cuts also help MINIMIZE the bust.

Tummy tamer

Make a stylish statement and “tame your tummy” at the same time with a one-piece suit featuring side shirring, princess seams and/or tummy control liner. Also look for asymmetrical tankinis, one-piece camisoles, one-piece tanks with draping, colourblocks, and diagonal inserts.

If you prefer a two-piece suit, choose one with a solid colour high waist bottom.

Waist minimizer

Choose a swimsuit “crosses over” or Choose a swimsuit with a “cross over” design, or that drapes to flatter your waist. Alternatively, choose a shape-flattering style with princess seams. You can also draw attention away from your waist with a flattering top with a chic print or the latest in bright colors

Hip and thigh minimizer

To de-emphasize your hips and thighs, look for swimdresses, sarongs, skirts, camisole sarongs, swimkinis, skirtinis, skirts, crinkle pareos, joggers and asymmetrical tankinis. All of these will narrow your hips.

If you prefer a two-piece suit, look for separates more than ever. This kind of fashion strategy gives you the opportunity to mix and match, as well as buy different sizes for your top and bottom. You can also choose a bright colour on top and a darker color on your swimsuit bottom to help minimize the appearance of your hips and thighs.

If you have a large bust (C, D, DD)

Look for slightly low-cut necklines, wide straps, racing backs. Several swimsuits are designed with D-cups and contour bras. Look for specially marked hangtags.
